Over the years hunting with the hounds I’ve had a pretty good run with dogs, over 45 plus years I’ve only lost one, presumed stolen back home, one to a brown snake, a promising young dog to a boar, and one due to overheating here in Oz. Due the nature of the game in NZ and especially over here, not a bad innings really. That was until about 6 months ago.
